Calling for Needlework Teaching Proposals: Teach an Online Studio Class to our Members

The EGA Online Studio is looking for teachers who would like to teach an online class to our members. If you have an exciting class that you know our members will love, we want to hear from you! Proposals can be submitted in a variety of techniques and for all stitching levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced.

Our Online Studio classes take place on EGA’s website and in an environment where the student can read and review written lessons, discuss with other students, and ask questions directly to the teacher through a class discussion group. Online Studio classes are a convenient way for students to take their embroidery to the next level.

Online Studio classes differ from our Group Correspondence Courses as most GCCs are offered for several years. There is no teacher evaluation process; embroideries are not submitted when completed, which which allows students to download the lessons and to complete the course on their own schedule.

Lessons are typically posted following a schedule, starting around three months after Registration begins. We try to schedule registration for a new class each month.

A design offered through the Online Studio does not need to be a new or a never taught before design. Previously taught seminar classes are acceptable. However, we will not accept any designs sold commercially.

You can see some of our upcoming classes as well as some previous ones below.

Submit your proposal by sending the Proposal Form below to our online Studio Chair Solveig Walstrom at online@egausa.org. We can’t wait to hear from you!
