This embroidery motif is part of Mia Hansson’s replica Bayeux Tapestry, the original of which is celebrating its millennial in 2027! It appears in the top border of the tapestry in scene 45. Hansson’s instructions include colors and stitches to replicate the original piece, but if you want to go rogue, you can make a flock of this bird in any colors that you wish.
