Introducing GCC: Encores, a new and exciting educational offering

Cosmos with Kim Sanders
Our first GCC Encore: Cosmos by Kim Sanders was taught at our 2011 National Seminar Flamingo Fandango

GCC: Encore is a new and exciting way to provide more educational offerings for our members! GCC: Encores  are courses that were first taught at our seminars at least five years ago and have been rewritten for EGA’s Education Department as group correspondence courses. Encores will bridge the gap for members who weren’t able to take these classes at national or region seminars.

Registering and taking a GCC Encore follows the same procedures as their GCC counterpart. Groups of up to 20 participants plus their group coordinator can register for a GCC Encore using the GCC registration form. Participants work together or individually to learn new techniques and when they’ve completed the course, the group coordinator mails each student’s required elements to the teacher to receive an evaluation. GCC Encore courses will also be offered as Lightning Rounds. Every quarter, members have the opportunity to enroll in a rotating selection of group correspondence courses without a group. When you take a Lightning Round course, you register directly through EGA headquarters who notifies the teacher of your enrollment. Once you have completed the course, you still have the option of mailing your finished piece to the teacher for an evaluation. Learn more about Lightning Rounds
