A special exhibition is now taking place at the Embroiderers’ Guild of America Headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. The exhibition is to honor our teachers and leaders while featuring items from our Permanent Collection. To merge the Collection and teachers and leaders, the exhibition presents items that are in the Collection either designed and/or stitched by our teachers and leaders; and items not in the Collection but that were designed and/or stitched by our current president and recent presidents.
There are forty-seven pieces on display that were stitched by thirty-one embroiderers. Thirty-nine of the pieces are from the EGA Collection.
The exhibition will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM until June 30, 2023. Headquarters will be closed on May 5 and May 29, 2023.
