Asian Fusion
Our Asian Fusion exhibition features embroideries from China, Japan, India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, alongside modern and contemporary works by embroiderers who appreciate and reinterpret or reproduce Asian elements.
The great majority of the items in the exhibition can be seen below. Because of the quantity of items, these have been organized in sub-sections to facilitate your browsing. Each photo includes a description and a label with the country represented. You will also see a number in each photo’s description, this will let you learn more about the background of many of the items using our Asian Fusion Exhibition Program, which can be downloaded here. You can see photos from Opening Night here.
