Artists Bobby Britnell and Joetta Maue announced as jurors for the 2023 Fiber Forum Jurying

Fiber Forum is pleased to announce that Bobby Britnell from Great Britain and Joetta Maue from the US will be the jurors for the 2023 Fiber Forum Jurying.

The annual Fiber Forum jurying (March 1-15, 2023) is open to all EGA members who create original embroideries and fiber art for exhibitions. The 2023 Fiber Forum Jurying Form with all the details about submissions is found on the Fiber Forum page here.

Eligibility for Fiber Forum membership is determined by the scores that your artwork receives from two outside jurors who evaluate the digital images and artist statements submitted. You may submit up to two works; the jurying fee is $30 each entry. All names are removed before the jurors see the images or the artist statements. Each entry receives a brief commentary from the jurors. An averaged score of ‘three’ for your work means your work is of exhibition quality and you are eligible to join Fiber Forum. Fiber Forum membership is for three years before re-jurying is required. The membership fee is $25 per year or 3 years for $60, due May 31.

As a member, you will receive the quarterly newsletter, have access to online programs, meetings, Open Studio events, and annual Retreats with nationally known instructors. Your work will be in the Fiber Forum exhibit at the annual Education Exhibition at the National Seminar. Fiber Forum Friends (EGA members not ready to submit for jurying) can subscribe to the quarterly newsletter for $10.00, and attend meetings and workshops when space is available.
