Starlight Angel

Star light, Star bright!

Let the first star you see tonight be this stunning Starlight Angel. In this class with teacher Kurdy Biggs we will bring Star Light to life using a stitch library consisting of variations of the Crescent stitch, along with Jessicas, Walnetos, and Mistake stitches. These stitches will be worked with an array of lustrous silks that include Soie Perlee, Entice, Gloriana overdyed silk, and Elegance: along with Accentuate and Kreinik metallics. Star Light will be embellished with pearls, crystals and beads to help her glimmer like the star she is.

    Kurdy is a counted canvas designer, teacher and owner of Threedles Needleart Designs. Kurdy holds a Level II Teaching Certificate from the National Academy of Needlearts. Her Geometric designs have won numerous awards from ANG, NAN, EGA, TNNA and Woodlawn. She has been published in Needlepointers, Needlepoint Now, and Cross Stitch and Needlework.
