I am excited to announce the upcoming relocation of EGA’s national headquarters. From October 15th through October 31st, 2024, we will be moving to our new home at 501 Baxter Avenue, Suite 200, Louisville, KY 40204. This move is being made as part of EGA’s Securing Our Future initiative and aims to reduce operating expenses while still maintaining the high level of service and support that our members rely on. The new space will provide a comfortable work environment for staff, along with room for the Guild’s lending library and permanent collection, all while saving EGA $20,000 to $30,000 annually in rent and utilities.
We look forward to sharing photos of the new space after we’ve transitioned into our new home. In the meantime, there are a few things to note. If you are mailing anything to EGA in mid-October or later, please use the new address. Forms on the EGA website will be updated in early October. If you’ve already printed forms, just update the mailing address to avoid any delays. The lending library will be unavailable from October 1st through November 30th. Due to the timing of the move, we will not be accepting holiday ornaments this year. Our phone number will remain the same as it has always been. We anticipate that there could be minor delays in phone and email responses during the transition period, and we appreciate your understanding and patience.
