Stitch a brand new surface embroidery design in our April stitch-a-long

It’s finally starting to look like spring, so can summer be far behind? For our April Stitch-a-Long project we have a wonderful new design from the talented Kim Sanders: Summer’s Glory. Kim was kind enough to design this project specifically for our stitch-a-long.

Our president, Leslie Gagliardi, told Kim of our wish for a small surface embroidery design that would appeal to our members. I think you’ll agree that Kim came up with a terrific project that provides tastes of many surface embroidery stitches — and finishes into a darling box to keep on a table or in your embroidery stash.

Our Summer’s Glory project uses easy-to-find supplies and works up quickly. If you’re part of an EGA guild that hosts a spring luncheon, kits for Summer’s Glory would make terrific table favors for your members. Just remember to get the Altoids boxes that are used for the box.

Happy stitching and thank YOU to Kim Sanders for this terrific design.
