You will have the opportunity to learn stitches used in Elizabethan Raised Work from Melinda Sherbring, a modern-day expert in the technique.

We will concentrate on the Elizabethan double ladder stitch, raised stem stitch, raised back stitch, Ceylon stitch, raised guilloche on cords stitch, split stitch, stem stitch, reverse chain stitch, linked chain stitch, double-edged linked chain stitch, double-edged chain stitch, padded satin stitch, and raised woven wheel.

These stitch names are pretty fancy, but don’t be put off by them. They just take a bit of practice, and the project is small.

Virtual Education Courses are not refundable.
