Introducing our new ‘Needle Arts’ magazine Editor Heather Gooch

It is with great pleasure that I introduce our new editor for Needle Arts magazine – Heather Gooch. Heather has 25+ years of experience in trade magazine publishing, including filling the role of editor-in-chief. She is a graduate of Kent State University, with a B.S. in newspaper journalism (concentration in creative writing). In addition to her professional experience, Heather is an avid needleworker. She has been a member of EGA since 2006 and currently is enrolled in the Master Craftsman: Counted Thread program. Please join me in welcoming Heather to this new role!

Heather would love to hear your feature and story ideas! She may be reached at EdNA@egausa.org.

As you can imagine, pulling together an issue of Needle Arts is a time-consuming endeavor. With this in mind, please be patient as Heather works as quickly as possible to publish the 2022 first quarter issue. Thanks in advance for your understanding when our delivery date slips a bit for this issue! We promise to get back on schedule for subsequent issues. Thank you! – Karen Hamilton, EGA President
