The Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education (formerly known as “homemakers”) held their annual statewide conference in La Crosse/Onalaska, Wisconsin. So many people signed up that the group was asked to hold two 75-minute sessions. There were 20 participants in each, including a gentleman and many attendees who had embroidered in their earlier years.

Six CCC members met several times over the past year to plan and order materials. The resulting kit included supplies to embroider a simple floral motif along with the colorful EGA brochure promoting all the possibilities of needlework education.
