On this clip from Creative Living with Sheryl Borden (KENW), designer Catherine Jordan shows examples of hand stitched bookmarks which are given to participants of literacy programs. Catherine explains the process of painting on felt and stitching a variety of techniques and designs, including both counted and surface embroidery. They discuss adult and youth literacy outreach programs EGA supports.
