On the third clip from this series of Creative Living with Sheryl Borden(KENW), designer and EGA member Catherine Jordan talk about painting on fabric. Jordan shows examples of embroidery which has had the background painted and also demonstrates how to mix the paints and add them to the fabric. There are many examples of painted skies, foregrounds, and shading including painting for bookmarks, book covers, pin cushions, painting on felt, and needlework maps.
