Hmmmm, not sure where the post for the Flat Stitch base and Buttonhole Bar stem went so will repeat:

EGA Discussion Group 6 years, 10 months agoThis pattern is 800 Needlework Purse by Primitive Hare. It is on 28 ct. linen. I loved doing this old time pattern. I used instant coffee to age the linen.

EGA Discussion Group 6 years, 10 months agoThis is Aumoniere: Medieval Pouch by Primitive Hare. This is completely done in cross stitch and is my first attempt at doing gold work. It is stitched on 30 ct. linen. I made the tassels, the draw strings, and backed it and lined it with brown silk.
