Do you want to improve your stitching? Then English Summer with teacher Cheryl Sharp is the correspondence course for you! Perfect your skills while stitching a stunning interlaced heart featuring ripe strawberries and a Tudor rose.
This course provides a lesson on how to prepare the fabric, transfer designs, and set up an embroidery on stretcher bars. Learn how to use variegated hand-dyed threads and try silk, cotton, and metallic threads while stitching the basic surface stitches. Beads will add some sparkle to your embroidery.
In the lessons, you will learn a few simple steps that will improve the look of your embroidery and will become a part of your stitching repertoire!

English Summer Information
Project: Framed picture
Technique: Surface embroidery
Size: Embroidery is 5½” wide and 6” tall
Color: Students may use the colors listed or choose their own color palette.
Supplies: A variety of silk, cotton and metallic threads on Kona Cotton.
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner & All Levels
Prerequisites: Basic surface stitching skills are recommended.
Time: 6 lesson in 6 months
Text: $50 per student. 64 pages (included in the cost of Lightning Round registration)
Approximate Cost of Supplies: $40. Students can share threads and beads with the exception of The Thread Gatherer-Silk ‘n Colors™
