If you are searching for a succulent that requires no water, light, or attention—that is, until you need to stick a needle in it—then look no further. Carrie Goff sells these 1″ (2.54cm) ready-made needle minders in her Etsy shop, but was inspired by EGA members to make a pattern available for stitchers who want to create their own. The resulting stitched flora can be a fun desk accessory as well, by just “planting” it in a miniature clay pot filled with stones.
This PDF pattern is available for purchase by EGA members until August 31, 2024. A yearly digital subscription to the project series(four projects per year) is available by ordering online here with payment for $35— a 10 percent savings over ordering individually.
