For our July 2024 stitch-a-long on Facebook we are stitching a common loon in a project by Deborah Jesseman.
Here’s more about this month’s designer Deborah Jesseman:
“I currently live in Florida after retiring as an educator and university professor. I started embroidering as a young girl and have the first completed cross stitch sampler I gave my mother for her birthday when I was 10 years old. I have been a hand quilter but always enjoyed embroidery, which I started to focus on when I retired 6 years ago – downsizing means smaller projects. I have more ideas for designs and projects than I will ever have time for but try to create something every day.”
