Do you watch videos or listen to podcasts while you stitch? You can learn about important and interesting subjects while working on your latest needlework project. Fiber Talk is a twice-weekly podcast for fiber-art hobbyists and many of our members and teachers are frequently featured. Teacher and designer Gail Stafford recently joined Fiber Talk for a fun episode you don’t want to miss. Gail currently teaches her course Bargello & Design to EGA members! This course will be available only through the end of 2024 for Groups and only through November 30 for individual registrations. Don’t miss your chance to register here! We also recently interviewed Gail who in addition to designing and teaching numerous Bargello pieces also holds EGA Master Craftsman certifications in Canvas Embroidery, Color for Needlework, and Design for Needlework. Gail will also be teaching several classes at our 2025 National Seminar: Needlework Faire in Dallas, Texas. You may watch this episode below or browse Fiber Talk here.
Here’s more about the interview from Gary at Fiber Talk:
Gail is a retired math teacher who has used her number skills to help her develop a significant talent for designing counted-canvas needlepoint. Her initial efforts were Bargello designs. Then she stepped up her game and is now creating stunning landscape designs with depth and texture that is not normally seen. Gail holds EGA Master Craftsman certificates in canvas embroidery, color, and design. She is also an EGA Seminar faculty member and a member of the ANG National Seminar faculty. – Beth and Gary
