Tour & Stitch In: San Francisco SNAD

Extended Study Program

Participate in Casalguidi and Silk Ribbon Embroidery classes at the San Francisco School of Needlework and Design, tour the Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles in Berkeley and more locations in the San Francisco Area.

Schedule

Sunday, May 5 2019: Arrival & Welcome at Union Square site
Monday, May 6: Casalguidi Floral Trellis or Golden Gate Bridge
Tuesday, May 7:  Casalguidi class,  half day. Lunch. Travel on bus to Lacis Museum in Berkeley.
Wednesday, May 8: Half day class in ribbon embroidery at SNAD. PM Free for city tours or shopping at Britex or other sites.
Thursday, May 9: All day Tour – Needle in a Haystack shop, Filoli Home and Garden, National Historic Trust, Woodside, CA.

Registration

The fee for the five-day program is $ 570, including classes and materials from SNAD, touring costs, and a box lunch on Tuesday, May 7.

Send the deposit of $100.00 and the completed, signed registration form (link below) to EGA Headquarters to reserve your space.

20 Maximum class registrants; 5 maximum companions not taking the class. Register by January 5, 2019. Nonparticipant fee $315.

Hotel

No hotel stay requirement is associated with this ESP. All participants will be provided with a list of hotels, each with a special rate agreement with the San Francisco School of Needlework. All hotels are located close to or on Union Square, San Francisco, within a short walking distance to the school. ESP Development Assistant Kathleen Weston will provide the hotel list.
