Updated: Contacting EGA Headquarters and COVID-19

Updated September 25, 2020:

Due to on-going pandemic issues in Kentucky, EGA headquarters will continue the work schedule we have had since March. We will have regular office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM ET, but there will continue to be one person in the office at a time. We will work from home the rest of the time as we have been. Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding.

Update July 15, 2020:

EGA headquarters will continue with our work plan of only one person in the office at a time until at least Labor Day. Hours remain the same – 9 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday, but only one of our smiling voices will answer the phone each day. The rest of us will continue to work from home as we have been. Cases are spiking in Kentucky as they are in many other places, and we feel this is the best way to keep us safe. We appreciate your understanding.

Update June 29, 2020:

EGA will reopen to visitors beginning 1 July. No more than three (3) member visitors will be allowed at a time, and mask wearing is required (we have some if you don’t have one).

Members: please call 502-589-6956 or use our Contact Us form to let us know you’re coming, and what date. Due to the spike in COVID-19 nationwide, staffing will still be only 1 person a day through at least Labor Day, with the others working from home. We all hope to be back together at that time.

Update May 28, 2020:

As Kentucky begins to reopen, EGA is also making plans to begin the journey towards normalcy. Beginning Monday, June 1st, the office will be staffed during the following hours: Monday – Wednesday, 9 AM to 5 PM ET; Thursday and Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM ET.

Due to an abundance of caution, there will still only be 1-2 people in the office on any given day, and the rest of the staff will continue to work from home. Please continue to be patient as we work to safely serve you, the members. We are hoping to resume full hours, staffing, and allow visitors beginning July 1st – please keep an eye on the website for further details. – Cynthia Welch, EGA Administrator

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, EGA headquarters staff will be working primarily from home beginning Wednesday, 18 March 2020.

The best way to reach us is by email: egahq@egausa.org. Your email will be routed to the correct person, who will be in touch with you shortly. Phone calls to headquarters will be answered from 10 AM to 2 PM ET, Monday through Friday. Any messages left outside that time will be returned during those hours.

Please be advised that some functions of headquarters may take up to a week to process (rather than our usual lightning fast response rate!).
