Catherine Theron Workshop: ‘Morning Has Broken Sampler’ at our Corning Chapter in NY

Mark your calendars! Catherine Theron is coming to Corning, NY to share her “Morning Has Broken” sampler on October 19 and 20, 2019.

Morning Has Broken is a fanciful, garden-inspired sampler worked on 32 count sandstone linen with a collection of silk & cotton threads in a palette of greens, golds, rusts, Williamsburg blues & strawberry reds.

The finished piece measures 11″ x 15″. The outer border is a meandering vine with leaves, strawberries and various flowers. Birds & bees are scattered throughout. Stitches used include cross stitch over one, smyrna cross, satin stitch, backstitch, princess stitch, diagonal satin stitch, double leviathan, petit point, chain stitch and spiral trellis.

Registration is open for all EGA members but prices vary if registrant is part of the Corning Chapter or Mid-Eastern Region. Don’t miss this exciting workshop!
