Sorry you are having problems. Have you saved the PDF to your laptop, printed it from there? That might help. The chart will be small when printed, so it might be best viewed on your ipad or laptop.

It’s hard to know what is going on without seeing it. The problems of technology, since many times no 2 problems are the same.

When I view the PDF…[Read more]

I did not  see a reply to my question about the chart, and I bringing it up in a new topic here.  I spent over two hours using both my laptop and my ipad to download and print Lesson 1.  The charts on page 4 and 6 do not print all the gridlines.  I cannot use the master chart.  I used every manner of attack i could think of.  The lines are more…[Read more]

Sarah, I found the solution to the curved needle problem – forceps!  They grip the needle and I am finally able to push it through the fabric.  Hooray – I’m back in business!

Hi everyone, Area 6 is actually 24 threads wide and 26 threads high. As long as you have the top right corner basted, you’ll just follow the graph from there. If you have already based, please don’t pull it out. Especially since we will be taking out the basting threads later or as you go.

    Thanks

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in responding. I was traveling on Friday and just noticed the email questions in my junk mail. 🙁

The basting: It’s there to help you find each area easily while you are stitching and to show. Then you just have to go to that area and put in the stitch. The guidelines get to the start and stop. Remember, most of…[Read more]

The basting is to help find each area easily while stitching. Is it totally necessary, no. But, it helps to get that part out of the way

    Hi Dawn,

Curved needles do take a bit of getting used to – I ended up stabbing myself in the back of the hand the first few times I used one. I hold my curved needle in three fingers rather than two – so the normal ‘pencil grip’ between your finger and thumb and then your second (or third) finger holding in behind the first, which helps con…[Read more]
