Received my kit yesterday. I’m a little confused about a couple things, but hope they are explained when we receive our first lesson. Mostly I’m wondering why I have 2 pieces of foam core and 2 pieces of art board for a 6 sided box.. The canvas, threads and beads are gorgeous!

Ta-DAH! I finished it! 5 years, 4 months agoI just finished “Tudor Rose & Pomegranate” by Cynthia Jackson. (The design is available from Inspirations Studios.) This is only my second goldwork project but I’m very happy with how it turned out.

I decided to make a mini smaller for each thread. I am part way through the third. I am very pleased that I am sampling these threads before starting a project. They can be so slippery and quite different to cotton embroidery threads that I am used to. Thank you for this beginner kit! Julia
