Here is the image of Sedona, without armature markings. It’s called Sedona because of the red landscape, the hiking trails, the cairns, and the vortices that the town is known for.

The History Museum asked if I could create an unfinished piece of needlework to use in a short film for an upcoming exhibit. The piece would be used by an actress portraying an upper class woman of the late 1700’s. We chose a Flame Stitch pattern stitched in silk on a 30ct piece of linen. Try a tea party. There is a group in Washington state who put a tea party on every February and they have had to limit the attendees as so many want to come. My chapter did a tea last June and we opened it to members and their friends. We had an exhibit of our work and served tea in china tea cups and had “tea” food. We did not charge to come…[Read more]

I visited the Low Country Chapter Meeting last week and they had a little wrapped gift to raffle to members. Members in attendance donated $1/ticket and the winning number was pulled from the hat after the meeting. They collected over $30 at one meeting. Two things on my mind this morning…. 1) Is your region taking advantage of the International Teacher Tour in 2019? My own region is doing so and I personally couldn’t be more excited. At present I don’t know of a chapter taking advantage of the international tour. We have in the past.
I have stitched the Stitcher’s Parking Lot – it was fun. Members in my chapter made various changes, color, threads for the back, etc.
