Thank you. It wasn’t a kit. The pattern was in Sampler & Antique Needlework magazine Summer 2014 issue and I bought the head from brierrose.com.

Irony. Vera, I started this project earlier in January. I’ve finished the embroidery for the doll; today, started the companion trunk. Assembly of both to follow. When the designs came out in 2012, Needle in a Haystack in Alameda,CA, kitted up the two pieces. Love the colors.

Are you going to make the tray and pincushion that go in the trunk? Guilia made the instructions for making them free on her website puntiantichi.com. I haven’t decided whether to make the trunk and I don’t remember what fabric I used for her skirt so that I could make them the same.

This is a trinket box that I worked as part of a 17th century needlework casket project. It is the practice piece for the big casket. The whole project is slow going because of all of the other things that I am working on but it is a lot of fun

EGA Discussion Group 6 years, 6 months agoI’ve been looking for a few years for a crewel kit by Elsa Williams called Enchanted April. It was a very short run, maybe only 6 months, it’s a snowy egret (?) against a backdrop of purple flowers. If anyone is destashing that kit, I’d be willing to pay for it! Please let me know!

As it is a new year with people advancing or removing themselves from positions, perhaps each chapter should review their web page(s) to make sure the information is current & correct. Just saying I have been looking at other chapters & found a bit of old data.
