Online Studio Class: Whitework Sampler

Try your hand at this counted thread technique and create a beautiful eight-band bell pull sampler. The two whitework techniques taught in this class are pulled thread and drawn thread. It is stitched on 28-count fabric with #8 and #12 pearl cotton. Because no kit is provided for this class, you are free to choose your own color combinations for fabric and thread. Pulled stitches include satin, four-sided, double back, waffle, three-sided, and ringed back. In addition, you will learn the diamond eyelet, how to withdraw threads, and hemstitching. Finishing instructions are included. Based on an original design by Carol Leather with her permission. The instructions for this class will be provided as PDF lessons.
