Meet the chairs of our EGA Master Craftsman programs on November 1, 2025. The Master Craftsman programs are designed to promote excellence in embroidery by providing the accomplished needleworker the opportunity to demonstrate skills and become certified as a “master” in her or his area of expertise. Join a Zoom meeting with the chairs of this multi-step certification process to understand the steps it takes to achieve a certification of Master Craftsman in the areas of Design for Needlework (Catherine Jordan), Beading (Gwen Nelson), Canvas Embroidery (Gail Stafford), Counted Thread (Carol Lynn Stratton), Crewel Embroidery (Carol Currier), Color for Needlework (Helen Gottshalk), Silk and Metal Thread (Margaret Kinsey), and Surface Embroidery (Carol Sylvester). This Zoom meeting will allow you to move onto breakout rooms with each individual chair to interact and ask your questions about the program directly.
