Fiber Forum is offering a limited number of seats to EGA members for our Zoom Lecture with Priscilla Smith, “The Power of the Stitched Image” on April 28, at 3:00pm Eastern time. To receive the Zoom link, it is necessary to register with Jenna McClooney, Fiber Forum Education Chair at jennalee@hotmail.com If space is available, she will send an acknowledgement within 24 hours. Priscilla works with topics which many embroiderers never touch, including social justice and anti-war. She will talk about her background and how she came to make this kind of art. Priscilla has many interesting stories about the inspirations for her embroideries.

Fiber Forum was organized in 1992 in order to advance embroidery as an art form through the exhibition of original works of exceptional merit. To this end, the group endeavors to have a biennial exhibit in art centers, galleries, or museums throughout the country. It also exhibits annually at the National Seminar in the Education Exhibit.
