All spaces for this lecture have been filled. For other EGA virtual lectures available, click here.

You are invited to participate in a Fiber Forum Zoom lecture with Lorraine Turner on Sunday October 8, 2023 at 3:00pm Eastern time. Lorraine will talk about the many techniques that make up her work and how she integrates them into her art.

Some of the techniques are machine and hand embroidery, felting, beading, raw applique, stabilizers and blocking fabrics. She will show samples and explain how she allows fabric, threads, and embellishments to do the work. In her words, “self expression begins with connecting our passions with our purpose.” The lecture with Q and A will last 90 minutes.

To attend this free lecture, you must register. The process is simple – send an email to Jenna McClooney at JennaLee@hotmail.com stating that you wish to register. Please be sure to include your first and last name. Feel free to ask any questions you might have at that time. Please register early as there are a limited number of spaces available. This lecture is only available to EGA members.
