For our December 2023 stitch-a-long on Facebook we are stitching an adorable sleeping bear in a project by stitch-a-long admin Helena Whyte, from our Pajarito Chapter in New Mexico.
Here’s more about this month’s project:
This crewel project was completed using wool thread from my stash on linen in a 6 inch hoop. The bear outline was stitched in yarn using the stem stitch. Other stitches in the project are french knots, the chain stitch, feather stitch and spiral running stitch.
