The national EGA Board of Directors has approved a number of changes to EGA’s national bylaws. These changes require a vote of the EGA membership in order to be adopted. Please log in to the EGA website and then visit the Voting page here to vote. You can also access the voting link from your profile under EGA News and from the website navigation under Members Only.
This year’s proposed bylaws revisions focus on strengthening leadership at all levels of EGA: national, region, and chapter. In addition to some procedural changes and some minor language corrections there are two substantive changes:
• Introduction of a new national officer: President-Elect
• Elimination of concurrent terms for national officers and directors.
A red-line copy of the proposed bylaws and a summary of the changes can be downloaded using the Proposed Bylaws and Summary of Changes links on the Voting page.
