Our Nittany Valley Chapter in Pennsylvania recently celebrated their 40th Anniversary, read the report see photos from their celebration below.
Adorned in shades of red to symbolize our ruby anniversary the members of the Nittany Valley EGA enjoyed a festive luncheon as we celebrated 40 years of stitching and friendship.
A special show of projects was organized to mark this occasion; 40 years of projects! We were able to find and display a finished example of a project taught by the guild from each of our 40 years. This grouping will have a wider impact when it will be featured in the gallery of our local library later in 2019.
The luncheon celebration also featured a class taught by Mid Atlantic Region President Kathy Weigel. Each member was gifted a hand stitched portable project tray made with red fabric and adorned with a special commemorative label. The afternoon was truly memorable as we look forward to many more years of stitching.
