Today we are bringing you news from our Fort Worth Chapter in Texas. We encourage you to learn more about them by clicking on their name and contacting them if you’d like to join them!
I’m excited to brag to you this morning about our Outreach team. Yes, we have a whole team…because outreach is a BIG job. They have 3 main focuses: providing our members with opportunities to further the education of needlework, engaging with our new members to ensure they feel welcome and supported as they navigate all the various opportunities that EGA membership gives them, and providing an outlet for all members to donate to local charities.
Today, I’m bragging about their newest brainchild: Newbie News Flash.
Newbie News Flashes are short videos meant to educate our members on EGA benefits, various forms of needlework, and other topics of interest. While the topic has the word “newbie” in it, our seasoned members will also find these videos interesting…because many may have forgotten about ALL the benefits of EGA membership or have never used them.
As we move forward, we’ll add a little branding intro to our videos and make a few other changes…but I can’t be prouder of Lisa Slay, Deb Preissinger and Garrett Kilgore…our Outreach team.
Their first video shows how to check out a book from EGA national’s library. Check it out below!
