Helen’s lecture is titled “Experimental Stitching” and will focus on hand stitch. As a fiber artist of the first order, Helen’s work has been displayed across the world. In Fiber Forum’s lecture, Helen plans to present a detailed look at how stitching is used as “mark-making and a means to build a textural surface.” She shares her “stitched vocabulary” through slides. She will end with a new work in my Mind Map series and share a more detailed look into her process.
