Colonial Band Sampler
Stitch a sampler that features 22 band designs!
This sampler features 22 band designs teamed with scattered acorns, birds, berries, geometric forms and other motifs that were popular during the 16th and 17th centuries. They are stitched in back and flat stitches, queens, partial queens, buttonhole bars, small Algerian eyes, four-sided, diagonal rice, double cross, and cross stitches. Additional stitches comprise the dividing bands of flower and acorn patterns, including Italian hem stitch (a pulled thread technique), flat stitch block, double back, Belgian cross, tent, colonial knots, zigzag, cross, small cross, and cross stitch with bars.
