This is my finished project in its final hoop. I turned the work 90 degrees, in order to create a modern scenery. I am quite happy with the end result. The picture has been taken outdoors.
Happy Holidays to Everyone!

Hello Everyone,
Merry Christmas!
I thought I would just share a photo of one of my finished canes at the top of my tree for inspiration. How is everyone getting on? I haven’t finished construction of my other cane so that I have it spare in case anyone requires help or extra videos of the lesson two parts. Please feel free to ask me any…[Read more]

Sampling on a doodle cloth is a great thing and you do not have to take it out. I also write notes directly on the doodle cloth. Rona- Getting the fabric wet might shrink it. Anything with dye or scent in it should not be used. I have used a clean, white pencil eraser at times. Which works well enough. Frankly, I would just leave it be. Nothing shows up in the photo!

There are a lot of pencil marks on my hoop piece, and I wonder how I can get them out. Is it ok to use Dawn? or baby shampoo or baby bubble bath? Or is there another option?
Thanks! -

Rona, thanks so much for sharing. That is very impressive, I love your filler work, it really finishes off the piece. Back to the hoop for me, I need to do one with al that filler stitching. After the holidays however, too much going on right now.
I also love the circles in the bottom right part of the hoop, they look like sand dollars on th…[Read more]
