Hello Class- We are just back from a trip, and catching up a lot with you all. What I have seen from the examples that you have posted are impressive far.
One of you mentioned the challenge of newsprint. the reason that I chose that is to give you a chance to think in values without the “crutch” of color.
And I know that newspapers don’t always have to subtle values that we need. Sometimes I have to save a bunch of them before I have a good selection for any value study that I want to do.
Just keep working on your study, and it will gradually work out.
And, of course, please let me know if you have any concerns about any of the other exercises.
