Freestyle Hoop Embroidery is a six-lesson Individual Correspondence Course for the embroiderer who wishes to go beyond following patterns. The student will learn ways to approach pattern-free surface embroidery for doing exploratory, creative work. Each lesson will require at least one embroidered project.

Lesson 1: Linear Stitches
Lesson 2: All-over Stitches
Lesson 3: Mandala
Lesson 4: Floral Stitches
Lesson 5: Landscape
Lesson 6: Textured Abstract

Prerequisites: The student must be familiar with embroidery stitching. It is not a beginner’s course!
Skill Level: Intermediate to advanced
Time: 12 months (2 months per lesson)
