For our August Stitch-a-long project on Facebook, we will be stitching a beautiful stumpwork butterfly! Our project this month was designed and contributed exclusively for members of our Stitch-a-long by Judy Jeroy, member of our Tidewater Virginia Chapter.
Here’s a little more about Judy Jeroy from our Stitch-a-long Admin Kate Gaunt: “If Judy’s name is familiar to you, there is a good reason why. She’s done just about everything in EGA, including teaching, designing, Editor of Needle Arts magazine, and serving as National President. Judy was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by NAN (National Academy of Needlearts) and there is a summary of Judy’s extensive contributions to the embroidery world here.”
