Good morning. First of all, Kim I too am sorry for your losses. It is never easy to lose just one loved one but two has to be unbelievably worse. I certainly wish you the best and hope you get through this as well as possible.
I would enjoy further communication about this class but I am not on Facebook and am not going to join as I spend muc…[Read more]

Rona Pietrzak started the topic Some advice for me? I am intimidated about doing the filler! in the forum Forum: Freestyle Hoop Embroidery 3 years, 5 months ago
Hello!
I feel done with the medallions and bands and would like to add some filler now. I have found the stitches I think would work, and have chosen the perl cotton I want to use (#12 — I think it will be subtle). But, I am afraid to get started. This often happens to me a some stage of a project; in this case, I am afraid I will make mistakes…[Read more]

Kim, I am so sorry for all your loss! Sending love and hugs, and wishes that stitching brings you peace and comfort. If you’d like to stay in touch about this project, I understand there is an EGA Fcebook group, stitch-a-long.
Good luck!

Hi Solveig,
Well done they look fantastic!! Have you put them on your tree yet or is it a bit early? My tree is going up Sunday and I will be putting mine up near the top so my toddler can’t reach them!
Have a lovely Thanksgiving!

Deborah expressed some interest, Donnie. Otherwise, no one. Meanwhile, Marsha our teacher shared the other day that there is an EGA Facebook group “Stitch-a-Long”; this might be a good way to go if there is no further interest.

I would love a follow-up group as I haven’t even started my project but hope to very soon, and would love a group for help and inspiration. I am absolutely NOT tech savvy tho so setting it up, I’m afraid, is out of my realm. Will do what I can to help and keep it going though.
Maybe we could all just stay in touch through individual emails as…[Read more]

Not sure if it is appropriate, but there is an EGA group on facebook called EGA Stitch-a-Long. Couldn’t find any info on what the group is all about, but it is there and is active.

Being part of this group has been so valuable for me — both seeing how others interpret the assignments, and getting feedback on my work have been great. Is anyone else interested in having a group that can continue to be in touch, sharing our work and constructive comments?
I don’t know whether we can do this through EGA, Facebook, or another…[Read more]
