Elizabethan/Renaissance Embroidery 8 years, 1 month agoSince I’m relatively new to stitching, I would love to see what everyone is working on. I have always been fascinated by this time period.

Medieval Needlework 8 years, 1 month agoI am relatively new to stitching and am interested in seeing all of the options out there. I would love to see pictures from this time period. It just may be the niche I am looking for. Thanks for the opportunity to learn more.

Have you seen this website? It’s one of my favorites even though many of the links are dead. http://medieval.webcon.net.au/technique_tech.html

This week, I finally finished my Juliana! Thank you so much for a great class. It was so much easier
to learn in class than in the GCC that I did for Isabella. I actually think that there are very few mistakes on this project!! Now I wish I had signed up for another class with you. Never mind, I’m sure that you will be teaching somewhere before…[Read more] -
Congratulations on finishing. It is really great to hear when someone completes a piece.

Hi Barbara, thank you for making me your friend. You’re doing well?
Kathleen-
Not quite sure if I am doing things right, ha ha. It is hard to get the hang of. Good to hear from you.
-
I’m trying to figure it out, also. No clue if I’m doing it correctly or not. Are you working on new projects?
-
I have decided to do something for myself for a change. I am doing the “Ann Bowers” Sampler. An 18th century American reproduction. I love samplers and don’ get to do them often. I am thourghly enjoying it while listening to the Outlander as audio book.
-
How nice for you to do something just for fun. I hope you enjoy working on it. I need to find some “get up and go” to get working on my project, Kay Stanis’ “Dancing Butterflies”. Kathleen

I know this group is dedicated to Elizabethan Renaissance but this topic seemed appropriate.
Just wondering if anyone who is in the Elizabethan Renaissance group is going to be at the
Louisville Seminar. If so, do you want to meet and have lunch, breakfast or dinner!!
