Exhibiting Your Embroidery 6 years, 2 months agoA little crow— a local arts group *asked* me to submit work to be juried for their next show! I know it still has to be juried in, but I was quite chuffed that they reached out to me.

Hi Judy,
I’m having trouble with knotting the thread once I’ve completed a practice stitch. I’m wrapping the thread around the needle about 4 times and going under stitches, but the knot is always about a 1/4” above the fabric. I just can’t seem to get the knot to lay on the fabric. It’s especially bad when I do a straight stitch.
