For those of you that are struggling with the tension of the needle lace, I would like to suggest that you practice on a scrap of fabric in either a square or a circle doing the most simple of the stitches, so needle lace stitch number 2. If you would like, you could also watch an instruction video for this stitch, on its own at https://youtu.be/BcIYBvZ5ZT4 on youtube. It might help you. The main thing is to just do it – and do it again, and do it again, as many times as you need to, watching how tight (or loose) I pull as I’m tightening each stitch. You are likely to find that suddenly the penny will drop, you will get what you might call a ‘muscle memory’and then you’ll probably be good to go for all of the stitches. Hope this helps.
