I belonged to the Embroiderers’ Guild of Brazos Valley, College Station, TX, for many years prior to moving to MT. I was so pleased to locate an EGA chapter here in Billings, MT this month. Well, after 25+ years, I’m slowly getting back to embroidering on a regular basis (as apposed to once a year).
I started this month tackling projects I started 2 years ago when my grandson was born (Hoping to finish before he graduates college)!
One thing I find frustrating, is that my eyes aren’t as sharp anymore. I do have a magnifying lens, but sometimes it’s still hard. If anyone can guide me to a better one, please let me know.
I do enjoy that rhythm that occurs as I take thread up and down, and have dedicated time each day (or every other day if my eyes are tired) to the enjoyment.
