Cost: Class registration is $90 plus the kit fee of $80 plus postage, which includes hard-copy instructions. Postage is $21 for the US, $63 for Canada, and $85 for Europe and Australia. There will be no refunds for cancellations.
Summer is arriving with the promise of picnics, watermelon, and family vacations. However, summer’s hot days by the pool will soon give way to autumn’s stunning colors, then winter’s cold breath.
Let’s slowly stitch this seasonal sampler together from our warm homes while winter rages outside. This 4″ x 10″ (10.16cm x 25.4cm) sampler has five drawn thread bands consisting of Old Hedebo embroidery and Russian groundwork, plus three bands with different thread twists. The bands are separated with surface stitches, silver threads, and sparkling beads to add accents. The model was stitched on 24-count congress cloth, but can be the same size at 25-count linen.
