Needlework Teacher and Designer Marion Scoular is retiring! To assist Marion in her move from her long-time home in Duluth, Georgia into assisted living, Marion is downsizing her significant collection of embroideries, books and stash items, which include fabrics, threads, tools and more. Her larger embroideries, including her fairy tale series, are in the process of being appraised, but a stash sale has been scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to come, so save the date! Cash, checks and cards will all be accepted. Marion hopes to be able to attend as well but may not be present all day as her energy level allows.

In the meantime, Lynette Maton, of Dogwood Chapter, has collected Marion’s library of embroidery books as well as Marion’s own publications and is offering them for sale on her behalf. If you’d like to purchase one of more of her books, please email Lynette at lmaton2@yahoo.com with your order information. Many of these books have personalized messages to Marion in them. Lynette can send you an invoice for the total amount and you will be able to pay with either a credit card through Paypal or with a check. Book prices have been calculated on used book prices in similar condition. All shipments will be sent via USPS media mail. All sales are first come, first served. Please note that Marion’s publications are limited and will not be re-printed once sold out. Thank you for your support.
