Forums offer many benefits, some of these are:
Searchable: Each class forum has its own search box that will let you search for things previously posted in the forum.
Topics: In the forum, conversations happen under topics which allow the teacher and students to have more than one conversation happening at once. This also makes it easier to find something that was posted before.
Featured Topics and posts: Important posts can be marked as Featured/Sticky so they are more prominent and can be easily seen by students.
Subscribe: With the new forums, you can easily subscribe to receive emails about the activity in the forum or to follow the conversation happening on specific topics.
