Stitch delicate petit point slippers!
These delicate petit point slippers are designed to hold a thimble and a pin cushion. The slippers are just the right size to learn the art of petit point on silk gauze. The design is inspired by Victorian era stitching. The kit provides each student with the supplies needed for a perfect finish.
The purpose of this class is to represent Petit Point to those who are looking for a challenge. Stitching on silk gauze could be intimidating, but when you know everything about the qualities of silk gauze and have the right supplies your finished project will be successful.
The delicate pair of miniature slippers is a project that is crafted in the spirit of the Victorian era.
General information about the qualities of silk gauze, needles, threads for each count of silk gauze, stitches will be discussed. The finishing techniques will be demonstrated to ensure that the students will have one pair of Victorian slippers to add to the collection of needlework accessories.
