Good catch. I stitched it 14×16, but this is small enough to re-stitch. I’ll wait for answer from Dawn since I measured placement of Area 1 from top and to the right of Area 14.

Marie, well done! the Inner box looks really neat here, the fabric looks lovely and taut and there is no gapping between your pieces.

Hi Florance,
I’m so glad you like the videos, it was fun making them!
I am not sure what the EGA policy is on the videos and how long they will be available, but if they do need to be taken down from the EGA site I will be happy to host them on my own YouTube channel and grant access to all the folks signed up to this class (although it may take…[Read more]

Apologies to everyone with kit delays – mail strikes over in the UK made it difficult to get the materials and to send out the parcels as well, but hopefully the arrivals are all imminent!

Hi Sarah,
Thank you very much for offering this class. I have been looking forward to learning more about making fabric covered boxes and am sure I will use what I learn in numerous future projects.
Thank you very much for the excellent videos. Will we be able to save access to the videos to refer back to after the class ends?
Thank you,…[Read more]

I also am feeling very frustrated with the grid-lines, especially on the main chart. My basting is off somewhere. Can you tell us what the overall stitch count should be? I think it should be 73 wide, by ??

I just received mine on Tuesday. My friends got theirs three weeks ago. Mailed at the same time. Crazy.

Hi Julia,
All the diagonals in the red circle are over 1 down 2. Each intersection of the graph represents a hole in the linen. Same for in the blue circle. On the true diagonal, work down 2 over 2, if possible, rather than 1 over 1 or 4 over 4. The enlargements (details) are taken from the original graph, so all match to the original graph.

I am admitting I have organizational issues and stashing 3x the things my sewing room can contain, so I am also asking, “Did I order a kit?” I believe I did.

Beverly Divany replied to the topic Printing problem in the forum Forum: B Sampler 3 years, 2 months ago
I printed Lesson 1 but the quality is not normal. The charts on page 4 and 6 do not show all the
gridlines. Counting will be impossible on the Master Graph. I did download the lesson, then print.
Did anyone else have this problem?

I’m finding it difficult to follow the backstitch in the red circle due to the graph lines is it possible to darken or make the stitch lines wider. Also in the blue circle from my experience you need to state if these stitches should be 1 over 2 or 2 over 4.the graph on page one when enlarged is easier to read as the graph is in a different p…[Read more]
